EMPATHIC CLINICAL SUITE: VP Internet Technology and Program Development

VP – INTERNET TECHNOLOGY AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Empathic has already garnered significant industry attention and provides service to real, paying customers after only 6 months of soft marketing. To continue this growth, we are looking for a Senior level IT professional with 10 + years in project management, development and nurturing of a high quality dedicated team of in house and off shore developers committed to agile, and test driven development; the implementation of web technologies; social media; integration and adoption of open source, developer mentoring and team building with experience in managing some off shore developers. This person will have a passion for streamlining business operations through automating business processes and implementing best of breed new technologies.
Works closely with, reports directly to CEO. Collaborates in design of future features.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and monitor scheduling and technical performance of software team.
Aid in the negotiation of contracts, contractual changes and coordinate preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.
Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to program problems, and direct work of IT team members. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Act as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Requires at least a Bachelors degree 10 years of experience in healthcare technology management. Masters Degree / MBA a plus.
Relies on extensive proven experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required for this position.
Skills: Excellent communication skills
Must possess the ability to understand requirements necessary to build a team of A players dedicated to high quality, who are excited about joining an up and coming medical technology .
Full Time; $125,000; Full Benefits; and participation in options pool when the company is profitable. Starts immediately.
