You will be joining a rapidly expanding, VC-backed start-up, who in the last year have conceived and built a range of unique, compelling products that have shaken up the online monetisation space. Keen to continue their supremacy in this space they are now seeking an experienced PHP / LAMP Developer to be involved in the Greenfield development for their next generation of ground-breaking new products.
This role is perfectly suited for an ambitious and experienced PHP Software Developer / LAMP Developer with an ability to hit the ground running and progress fast within a small yet expanding team. To qualify you will need:
• Strong experience building web applications using LAMP architecture. This will require excellent knowledge of PHP5 & OOP and MySQL5 and its surrounding technologies.
• Code XHTML and CSS to W3C standards, WAG accessibility, cross-platform compatibility and semantic coding would be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Jquery.
• Broad all-round interest in programming languages (including Python).
• A passion for Open Source technologies, active participation in the Open Source Community is very telling (in a positive way).
Any exposure to Adobe AIR using JavaScript or APIs (including design and implementation) is advantageous as is industry experience (B2B advertising, online marketing, affiliate marketing), search with Lucene/SOLR or any direct experience developing scalable web applications for high volume sites.
