We are looking for a highly technical, bright and ambitious Developer / Web Developer (predominantly .NET) to join a fantastic out-of-London agency that is just a pebbles throw from the beach, in Brighton’s Lanes.
Joining this fast growing, independent digital agency as a Web Developer / Programmer you’ll be working on diverse and interesting digital projects across a range of high profile clients. Specialising in cutting edge software development, digital marketing and interactive installations our client looks for seriously talented, technically gifted individuals who share a passion for cutting edge innovation and who thrive when using the latest tech on fantastically creative projects.

You will bolster their development capabilities, however this role will also offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in other areas as well. In more detail you will:
• Play a key role in the development of major web projects.
• Program to a high standard of quality and robustness.
• Support colleagues through advice and code reviews.
• Influence development architectural decisions.
Expect a Brighton studio buzzing with technology, creativity and ideas allowing the design, production and programming departments to work collaboratively on all projects. The studio also offers up a relaxed environment and as many games of pool as you fancy.
To qualify… You will need to be able to code flawlessly, be a stickler for detail and have a CV that highlights some or all of the following:
• Solid professional experience developing in a .NET / ASP.NET (C#) / web environment (although we will consider applications for developers wishing to cross-train from an alternative OO language).
• An understanding of Object Orientated (OO) Programming Concepts.
• SQL Server
• An in-depth knowledge of the underlying web-principles.
• XML / HTML (standards compliant) / CSS / JavaScript (extensive understanding) / AJAX.
• A Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Computing or a related subject.
• A passion for programming and new technologies.
Any exposure to MVC frameworks, ORM, Java, PHP, MySQL, Objective C, Flash, Flex or Agile Methodologies is advantageous.
