SoftPro has an opening for a C# Software Engineer in our Raleigh, NC office on the Business Integrations Team. In this position you will be part of an advanced team building new products using the latest Microsoft technologies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
· Writing detailed Specifications (include pertinent technical information for support, documentation, and testing, and any assumptions or limitations which arise during the development which are not obvious).
· Completing thorough unit testing including using a de-bugger when possible to identify bugs during development.
· Tracking tasks and bugs in Microsoft Team Foundation.
· Following established procedures for file management and backup, version control, coding, and commenting the code.
· Working collaboratively and cohesively with all team members
Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years of Significant Object-Oriented development experience in C#
· 3+ years of ADO.NET and SQL Server 2005+ experience
· 3 + years of Experience with Web Services, XML, or XSLT
· 5+ years of Data Structures and Algorithms experience with solid understanding of relational databases
· 5+ years of Strong experience in Visual Studio
· 3+ years of Multi-threaded development experience
· 3+ years of Windows Forms development experience
· Strong customer service skills and able to work in a team environment
· Must exhibit a high-level of analytical skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
· Experience with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) is highly desired
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree OR 8+ years of comparable IT industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and certifications.
