Joining a fast growing, exciting business our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner who has gained industry recognition in the services they provide. Ongoing expansion now means they are seeking to hire a Technical Project Manager, ideally from a consulting or digital agency background, to work across complete project lifecycles - so experience of web technology, content management and integration projects is a must.
You will play an integral role controlling the full project lifecycle, so accreditation, or demonstrable understanding of a recognised project management methodology would be an advantage. This position offers a diverse and varied environment where projects can vary a great deal, both in size and client, across the public and private sectors. In more detail you will:
• Work with internal and external teams to ensure all projects are kept on track throughout their lifecycle.
• Work on both technical and functional specifications.
• Previous experience managing cross-office teams (i.e. designers and developers).
• Actively manage multiple concurrent projects (depending upon the size and complexity). This will include handling the complete day-to-day management of projects (budgets, deliverables, schedules, proposals etc).
• Effectively manage, escalate, and resolve issues and risks during the project lifecycle.
• Support less technical PM’s.
• Implement and embed practical project management processes.
• Assist with improving the quality, efficiency and capacity of the team.
• Facilitate team meetings and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Experience and skills required:
• Technical background as a developer/lead developer.
• Must have proven experience delivering web projects.
• Strong client facing, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent team and people management skills.
