You are: An experienced Web Developer / Software Developer capable of working on high traffic, challenging projects, developing cutting edge in-house technologies that produce fast, highly scalable web-based solutions. You should also love new technologies and always seek new ways to implement them into your environment.
Working at the forefront of web development / finance development projects you will play an instrumental role within the Billing team in designing and building efficient, high traffic systems. Other duties will include recommending and researching new technologies and mentoring, leading and training junior developers.
To qualify... We are seeking strong Web Developers / Software Developers with CVs that covers the following:
• Proven programming experience using Java, C++, C# or another high level language.
• Proven programming experience using object oriented technologies.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with high-traffic systems where efficiency and scalability is important.
• An ability to take full technical responsibility for all stages of the software development life-cycle.
• Good understanding of web security and experience in eliminating the potential of exploits.
• Experience of working on your own initiative, designing and programming complete web or application-based solutions.
• Experience with payment or billing system development.
• Excellent understanding of MVC and architectural patterns.
• Experience of developing with agile processes.
• Proficient skills using databases, e.g., PostresSQL and of using UNIX or Linux.
