This position is based in Shanghai, China.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop new server side features to support our web communities (search, chat, video processing…).
• Maintain existing code by fixing bug, adding new features.
• Deploy code in production and monitor this code on live servers.
• Work with a team of high qualified web developers to create outstanding applications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Java development (J2EE, J2SE 5 & 6).
• Strong experience with Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with Object Oriented Design and modelisation tool (UML).
• Experience with unit testing tool (JUnit).
• Experience in web application / web services development and deployment (Tomcat, Glassfish).
• Experience with Lucene, Solr.
• Understanding of how the web works, from low to high levels.
• Familiarity with a wide range of relevant technologies and web standards.
• Excellent knowledge of databases and UNIX system.

Pluses:

• Experience in PHP.
• Experience in agile development (SCRUM, XP, TDD)
