Job Description:
Senior Front-End JavaScript Engineer who has the ability to solve complex development obstacles as they pertain to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, interaction design, browser development, and web page performance.

Requirements:
- 5+ Years experience or mind-blowing, amazing work
- Experience working as a key member of a very dynamic and agile development team
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field a plus
- A proven track record of clean, fast, working JavaScript with examples of your code
- Expertise in the core competencies of JavaScript Fluent in HTML (up to 5) and CSS (up to 3)
- Ability to create HTML and CSS from visual designs and wireframes
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- You demonstrate vision and planning in everything you do
- Self-motivated, clever, and an out-of-the-box thinker
- Extensive experience with social media participation
- Extensive knowledge as it pertains to browser development
Ideal Candidates:
- Lust over the usage of HTML5 specifications
- Believe in leveraging a CSS3 solution, instead of creating an image file
- Consider yourself a JavaScript developer and not a “fill in the blank” library developer
- Believe in user-centered design and development processes
- Find browser development to be intriguing and rewarding because you know your way around browser quirks
- Understand social media
- Believe in the collaborative good when making development decisions for users and are willing to exhaust all options in search of the perfect solution
- Believe source control and bug/ticket/feature management is essential to development and communication
- Believe that web-page performance is a critical skill when developing for a web browser
- Believe what is correct is mostly determined by users and objective metrics
- GIT most, if not all, content versioning systems
- Understand building a JavaScript-heavy single-page application (SPA) in a web browser
- Are excited by simple & clean user interfaces and interactions
- Are not a Back-End engineer, but modifying some Ruby or PHP is not a huge deal
Responsibilities:
- Daily interaction and collaboration with our UX/UI Design and Back-End Developers
- Daily attendance and participation in stand-up meetings
- Provide cross-browser solutions (We do not support legacy versions of IE)
- Provide web performance-minded solutions
- Organize, develop, and manage client-side technologies for a web application
- Be up-to-date and knowledgeable of client-side technologies and methodologies
- Communicate and collaborate on a daily basis with all team members to produce a user-centered web application
