COCOA/Objective C Developer

We are assisting a client in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago that has a 6-9 month contract position available for a COCOA/Objective-C Developer. Please review the following job description and send your resume if you are interested.
Join a team in designing, developing, and implementing front/back end custom built architecture. We’re looking for someone who likes challenges, is remarkably detail-oriented, highly competent and multi-faceted and loves creating applications designed for use by actual human beings. A good design sensibility is a big plus. Contribute to the design, development, documentation and unit testing of the project. Incumbent will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle (from design and development to testing and implementation). Work closely with the project leads, the manager and other developers towards the successful release of the finished product. Provide assistance to the Quality Assurance team for proper and comprehensive testing. Understand the technical aspects of the applications in order to troubleshoot issues and analyze results.
Job Requirements:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Apple Mac / iPhone product development experience.
• Extensive experience programming in Cocoa / Objective C
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented development methodologies
• Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML-RPC)
Desirable:
• Knowledge of the intricacies of developing for mobile devices
• Experience developing applications on other mobile platforms such as Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Nokia is a big plus
• CVS
• MVC Architecture
