Based in Farringdon, this is a unique opportunity for a Senior Web Developer / Technical Lead to join an exciting digital design and build agency. Working with clients that range from internet start-ups to global brands you will work as their Technical Lead developing and maintaining enterprise class websites and applications using PHP, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and MySQL.
Joining a team of talented industry professionals the Senior Web Developer / Technical Lead will collaborate with User Experience Architects, Designers and Producers providing the essential technical input on projects. Growing a team of web developers around you, you will lead the development function building high profile, enterprise level websites and applications.
To qualify... You will need to be a skilled at PHP, knowledgeable with Drupal and possess a passion for Web Development, this means your CV should highlight some or all of the following...
• Core expertise based around PHP/My SQL / Drupal 6+ development.
• Strong experience in building custom modules and sites in Drupal 6.0 and/or 7.0, in terms of Technical Architecture, Build and Tech Leadership.
• The ability to supervise and mentor Junior Developers.
• Proficiency in core web development fundamentals, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
• Good overall understanding of web design practices, including usability, accessibility and web standards.
• An understanding of API Programming e.g. using SOAP or RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with source control principles and comfortable with Subversion.
• Knowledge of production-ready LAMP stack configuration.
