Sr. . net Developer (C#, WPF)

Immediate career enhancing opportunity on high-profile Capital Markets, Fixed Income initiative with midtown Fortune 10 global bank: Multiple / one year + projects - some roles will transition to full-time, salaried positions, others can remain as consulting roles.
Will be a member of the Mortgage Analytics team responsible for building and maintaining analytics tools and applications for mortgage trading and research teams.
• Solid experience with designing and developing front-end applications capable of handling large data sets. Experience with applications for financial industry, specifically Fixed Income and Structured Products is a big plus.
• Experience with building high performance GUI in .NET environment using WPF/Silverlight and integration with the existing WinForms and Win32-based applications. Experience with ASP.NET is a big plus.
• Solid experience with .NET 3.5 and 4.0, strong in C# and XMAL. Experience with Unix/Linux, C++ and scripting languages is a big plus.
• Practical Knowledge of model–driven approach to UI design and industry-standard patterns and concepts such as MVVM, IoC frameworks, Unity, MEF and Prism.
• Knowledge of messaging middleware such as TIBCO and communication in distributed application.
• Knowledge of database design principles, SQL as well as ADO.NET, LINQ and Entity Framework.
• Understanding of security and distributed computing concepts.
• Solid experience with multithreading.
• Experience developing with WCF.
• Experience developing with Silverlight.
• Familiar with 3rd Party components such as DevExpress, Infragistics and Syncfusion.
