Java Flex Developer

Java Flex Architects and Developers (lower NYC – F10 investment bank - local applicants only ) – Career enhancing opportunity on high-profile Flex/Java product development team (ongoing hiring as demand grows)
Multiple / one year + projects - some roles will transition to full-time, salaried positions, others can remain as consulting roles as the new platform rolls out and is customized for wide-ranging users.
Roles involve the design and development of new components, understanding existing application architecture & its contribution to enterprise system integration. Resources will support shared services group charged with developing Flex/Java app's across corporate and investment bank as well as other LoB's. This is a highly visible, career enhancing opportunity. Required background/experience:
• Strong Adobe Flex & Javascript skills along with good J2EE skills
• Strong understanding of web application development & architecture
• Significant experience working on Apache web server & reverse proxy configuration
• Strong database skills with experience writing Oracle/Sybase triggers, stored procedures
Several positions require hands-on architect skills and team lead experience with heavy Flex logic and development, Flex/Java communication layer, Flex internals. Must be very strong technically ... OOP and design patterns… Top level corporate visibility assured … Must have capability to mentor and train others.
