Senior Application Developer
at API-Recruiting in Singapore
Responsibilities include:
Develop and support custom applications built on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) platforms.
Develop and support .NET software applications as per instruction, while following appropriate procedures
Follow specifications, plans and designs in order to analyze complex and business critical software solutions
Utilize appropriate software engineering best practices, individually or in concert with a project team
Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current best practice development methodologies
Write code and documentation in a timely manner in order to complete a task
Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business
Work closely with the business team supporting in coordinating team tasks and deliverables
Perform support development tasks on a daily basis at the same time as product development tasks
Travel as required
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Ability to work both independently and as part of team of developers
Understanding of software development methodologies and concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills
Self motivated with a commitment to quality
Minimum 2 years each required:
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SSRS integration with MOSS
SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
SQL
.Net C#
ASP .Net
Minimum 2 years each strongly preferred:
Classic ASP
Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ)
Required to relocate to Singapore
