Drupal Developer

Position Summary: We are looking for a Drupal Developer to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring a creative, self-motivated programmer to lead our User Experience team. This person will be an integral part of the Creative Department and will answer directly to the User Experience Director
Essential Functions:
1. Develop new and enhance existing Drupal sites
2. Code custom Drupal modules
3. Implement custom Drupal themes
4. Create code for front-end behaviors with Dynamic HTML
5. Working with other business entities for both technical and user experience requirements
6. Take responsibility for complex projects and own the product
Skills Required:
1. Extensive experience developing in PHP
2. Extensive experience of Drupal setup, configuration, customization, deployment and management
3. Excellent understanding of XHTML, CSS & Javascript
4. Awareness of working with Drupal in a multi-server, high availability and high load environment
5. Strong Experience with MySQL
6. Experience with integration to third party APIs
7. Solid experience with MooTools, jQuery, Prototype, or similar frameworks
8. Knowledge of Adobe Design Programs
9. Knowledge of user-experience best practices in UI development
10. Understanding of SVN and version control software
11. Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
12. Any experience of A/B or multivariate testing a bonus
13. Team working skills essential – both within the team and across other teams (eg design)
14. Team leadership and initiative skills
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years developing Drupal sites
Minimum of 5 years developing dynamic websites (HTML/PHP etc)
A list of past produced URL’s required along with references.
