Sr. .Net Developer

Roundarch senior .NET developers are self-directed developers responsible for estimating and delivering quality code as part of a team through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Taking direction from the technical lead and technical architect, Senior .NET developers are expected to exhibit ownership of a problem through its completion. Qualified candidates must be highly proficient with .NET technologies and object-oriented programming, including software design and design patterns.
Leveraging exposure to database design, development best practices, back-end architectural patterns and front-end development techniques, candidate will work in a collaborative environment to develop applications with a strong focus on user experience design.
Ideally, candidate will offer experience with stateless web application development, designing and developing solutions based on the .NET suite of technologies using C#. Candidate must demonstrate their ability to master new/emerging technologies, and take initiative to offer technical direction and creative solutions to others on the team.
Candidates must have IT consulting experience, experience working in a team environment, effective written and verbal communication skills and be willing to travel to support client specific projects.
Responsibilities
Self-directed, able to define problems and present defendable solutions
Produce high quality, modular, reusable code that incorporates coding best practices and serves as an example for less experienced developers
Accurately report issues and status to project management
Assist/Mentor junior developers
Required Experience/Skills
Candidates should have completed at least three full professional software engineering projects across multiple platforms and have acquired the following skillsets:
.Net 3.5+ and all related features
Experience with essential technologies: C#, ASP.NET, Linq, ADO.NET Entity Framework, AJAX, .Net MVC 3, XML/XSLT and SQL Server
Exposure to Relational Database modeling and experience creating advanced SQL queries / procedures
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype), HTML 5/CSS 3 and XHTML
Experience with Object-Oriented design patterns and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, WCF and Web Services
Comfortable with a fast paced environment, where requirements and projects can change quickly
Nice to Have
Experience with a build / deploy framework like NAnt
Experience with an instrumentation framework like log4net
Experience with .Net code generation capabilities
Experience with scrum (or another agile methodology)
Experience to source code management tools like CVS, SVN , Git
Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, Python or other non .Net framework languages
Experience to enterprise development frameworks such as NHibernate, Spring.Net
Experience to Adobe Flex and ActionScript
Experience to Silverlight
Experience to mobile development on any platform
Experience to cloud-based architecture (e.g. Azure, Amazon web services)
Experience to Sharepoint or other CMS packages (e.g. Ektron)
Experience to code optimization
