Joining as a Senior Web Developer / .NET Developer (C#) you will be hands-on, planning, implementing and leading web-based projects for both internal and external clients with a primary focus around .Net development, architecture and implementation. Reporting to the Head of Technical you will often be working in teams, on multiple projects, defining solution architecture and delivering/deploying the final solution.
To qualify... You should possess strong commercial experience as a .NET Developer / Web Developer (.NET/C#) with a CV / core skills covering the following:
• .Net (C#) framework 4.0 inc. MVC3
• Visual Studio 2010
• SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2
• JavaScript inc. jQuery, (X)HTML, CSS
• Experience of TDD
• OOP
• Source Control
• N-Tier applications
• Web Services and WCF
• IIS setup/configuration
• Coding best practice across all work delivered
• Ability to create bespoke coding architecture and tech solutions
• An excellent knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and mark-up languages & frameworks.
• Experience of developing and leading both public facing internet sites and intranet sites.
• Digital Agency / Software Consultancy experience.
Exposure to Agile development methodologies is advantageous, as is NHibernate, Umbraco CMS, SVN, TDD, CI, XML/XSLT and Social Network API’s
