Established in 1993 our client works at the forefront of the print industry delivering print management solutions and transactional/direct mailing services to clients throughout the UK and Overseas. From their purpose built production facility situated in East London, this privately owned business are capable of delivering large scale, critical print and data projects to tight timescales.
As you would expect, they process large and varied amounts of data, so your role as VBA / Access Developer is to ensure direct mail / marketing campaigns distribute effectively via precise programming and development of VB applications, data processing and the use of Printnet T software and in-house applications.
Working in a professional, technically-challenging and pressured environment, expect to use specialist data manipulation tools and advanced mail-merger software to help clients achieve perfect results.
To qualify... We are seeking an analytical, deadline driven Access / VBA Developer who can demonstrate the following...
• An in-depth knowledge of Access / VBA programming gained in a commercial environment.
• Education to degree level (or equivalent) (Maths, Economics, Computer Science or similar).
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills (including good documentation skills, using industry-standard methodology).
• The ability to work on own initiative and but also be a team player.
• The desire to learn new skills.
