Working at the heart of the technical team you will be in direct partnership with coders, creatives and other web developers, sharing opinions, brainstorming ideas and championing everything that is technically creative. Whether you are technically designing and deploying websites; building back-end dashboards, managing servers or integrating web and mobile platforms it will be your expert PHP / Web Development skills that drive projects to deliver outstanding results.
To qualify... You will need to be an ideas driven, Web Developer / PHP Developer who can code flawlessly and can demonstrate the following:
• Excellent HTML / CSS, JavaScript (AJAX/JQuery/MooTools) experience.
• Good PHP skills
• A solid back catalogue of web development work including URLs to live commercial projects.
• An ability to slice and dice visual assets into fully standards compliant markup.
• Experience of working with open source software and communities.
• Server Management – familiar with web server deployment & maintenance of sites.
• Use of databases – MYSQL.
• Knowledge of current web trends – sites, apps, tech, science etc.
Any exposure to Social Networks (APIs), Flash / Actionscript or mobile development (Objective-C, iPhone, iPad) is advantageous, as is a good design appreciation, client facing experience and UI/UX knowledge.
