Experience
3 – 5 years or equivalent working knowledge and skill as developer/programmer, database programmer, web developer with at least 1 year in an agency/marketing capacity.
• Established analytical skills for evaluating improvements to process and system flow
• Proven ability to effectively execute project deliverables from established technical requirements
• Proficiency managing and manipulating robust data models
• Demonstrated proficiency in UI construction, ensuring the integrity of the UI throughout the development lifecycle while optimizing with the user (SEO) top of mind
• Established development language skill sets with the desire to learn new methodologies independently
Required Qualifications
• Be self-motivated with a positive attitude in both independent and collaborative, diverse team environments
• Ability to effectively communicate with programming and Account Service teams
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Technical Knowledge

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Onboarding – Participate in project kick-off meetings with project team, assisting Project Manager and Sr. Programmer with assignment of project action items, review of project scope and technical requirements. Assist in identifying outages in content or project deliverables.
2. Development – Lead project development, consulting with the Sr. Programmer and Director of Production as needed, utilizing one or more of the following:
• SQL Server
• XML
• ASP, VB, C#
• HTML/CSS
• Javascript/AJAX
• .NET and Visual Studio
Develop against latest industry best-practices and methodologies for Web-based applications according to directives set forth by the Director of Production. Seek opportunities for independent learning and deliver learning/insights back to the Production team on a regular basis.
3. Version Control – Actively use established repository control systems from development to staging and live deployment to ensure accurate version control throughout project lifecycle.
4. User Experience – Collaborate with the Sr. Programmer in the development of user process flows, site architectures, wire frames and user experience tests on assigned projects.
5. Test Plans – Refine and deploy software test plans for all custom solutions, including STARAwards and iExtend as provided by the Sr. Programmer.
6. Quality Control/Testing – Utilize established quality assurance methodologies to troubleshoot, debug and implement software code in accordance with requirements called for the project statement of work and operational mandates outlined in the technical requirements document.
7. Changes in Scope – Identify change-to-scope or risk-to-scope issues and engage Account Manager and Project Manager for issue resolution.
8. Productivity – Self-manage budgeted hours per project and notify Project Manager when time-to-task will exceed allotted budget. Target billable rate is 65% – 80%.
9. Special Projects. As assigned.
