BeachMint Inc. is a fast-growing, venture-backed social e-Commerce company founded by MySpace Co-Founder, Josh Berman, and serial tech entrepreneur, Diego Berdakin. Located in Santa Monica, CA. BeachMint launched its first brand, JewelMint.com, in late 2010 with actress and style icon, Kate Bosworth, and her celebrity stylist, Cher Coulter. StyleMint.com, in partnership with Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, launched in July 2011. BeautyMint.com in partnership with Jessica Simpson and celebrity skincare expert, Nerida Joy, launched on October 31, 2011 and three weeks later BeachMint launched ShoeMint on Black Friday with style icon, Rachel Bilson, celebrity stylist, Nicole Chavez and global shoe expert, Steve Madden. BeachMint is also preparing to announce new Mint partnerships in early 2012.

Our ideal PHP engineering candidate will excel at:
-PHP code that can scale
-API Development
-Web Services
-Unit testing their code
-Design/Architecture patterns
-MySQL (hardcore skills)
-Unix/Linux scripting
Other qualifications include:
-5+ years experience developing for a high traffic site
-A passion for open source software
-Scripting in Python, Perl, or Java
-A desire to be among the best at what you do
-Curiosity for new technologies
-Experience building and/or using ESB, caching and other low level platform components
