Located in Whiteley, which is roughly half way between Southampton and Portsmouth, this expanding entrepreneurial business focus on translating complex digital briefs into simple online solutions. Since its inception in 2007 this progressive Software Consultancy has grown to over 40 staff in just a few short years. Continuing to expand in 2012 they are now seeking Junior PHP Web Developer / Graduate PHP Developers to join the team.
Working closely with the content, marketing and design teams, you will work alongside experienced web development professionals occupying a variety of development tasks focussed mainly on consumer-side development (HTML integration, dynamic design, and database integration).
Keen to show off your web development skills (HTML/CSS, PHP & MySQL), you should be a team player with great problem solving skills who is willing to push to the limit, although you will need to spare some time to have a good laugh with your co-workers. As a guideline, the following would be ideal...
• PHP & MySQL
• XHTML & CSS (Level 1 & 2)
• JavaScript and AJAX
• cURL and Data Mining techniques
If you’re not an expert in all these areas, don’t worry. The important thing is that you can demonstrate a willingness to learn (after all, we want a person, not a machine!).
