Joining an established BPM and software engineering company that specialises in providing the world of F1 and motorsport with software implementation services, this opening presents a unique opportunity to work within a world leading Formula One team. Joining a dynamic IS/IT software Development support team on site, you will play an integral role in building factory and car performance related software applications in C# / .NET.
Working closely with the PMO and Software Development team you will assist in the development of systems architecture in specific business or functional areas. This means preparing detailed designs for implementation, ensuring best practices and standards are applied correctly and providing technical advice on system development/integration. You will also investigate data requirements and analysis to ensure quality data structures and associated components and provide guidance to database designers.
To qualify... We are seeking experienced Systems Analysts / Software Engineers (C#/.NET) capable of demonstrating the following:
• Experience in developing C#/.Net applications.
• Practical knowledge of WCF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Software development experience in an enterprise environment.
• System/software design experience.
• Scrum Master or experience of working in a project using Scrum methods. C# / .Net
• Excellent communicator; stakeholders, directors, developers, testers, solution architects.
• Able to self organise and work autonomously.
• A strong desire to work in Motorsport / Formula One.
As a Systems Analyst or a Senior Software Engineer looking to take a step up you will not only need to possess excellent hands-on development skills in C# / .NET but should also be comfortable scoping projects of medium size and complexity.
Any exposure to designing and prototyping UIs, using wireframing tools (e.g. Balsamiq or Expression Blend) or first-hand exposure to the motorsport/engineering industries would be advantageous.
