Web Developers (Lead & Junior)
at development.nyc@gmail.com in New York, NY
Overview
We’re a focused publishing company looking to rebuild our online presence in support of our existing magazines. We’re re-focusing our efforts to work to build a better toolset for our content teams as well as our readers and community online. We’re looking to both focus on our existing tools as well as build new tools around our properties and the communities that support them. We’re a LAMP-based site right now (though we’re still moving some of our sites form an old ASP platform). We’re currently a very small, but focused team, and we’re working on getting ourselves caught up and pushing forward, while being realistic about what we can, and should, accomplish and prioritize. We plan to grow moving forward in both size and responsibilities for the group.
The list below is a bit of a dump of things we’re interested in and what we’d like to see. We don’t expect anyone to be a perfect match (but we won’t complain if you are!), if you feel you’re close, and it’s a direction you’d like to be moving toward, send in your info! We currently have both a senior position and a junior/midlevel position open, and we’re very focused on getting people with a good sense of logic and and interest in learning. Please email your resume, and which position you fit, and what your salary requirements are.
