POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking somebody for a contract consulting position to help us develop, design and implement server and client-based technologies. This individual should have a broad exposure in the area of management systems who is also current with the latest WS-* technologies. The Web Developer is expected to interact with multiple development groups and cross functional departments during the course of the project. The developer will be responsible for providing guidance to other members of the team. The developer is expected to possess good insight into design patterns and designing applications using OOPS. This person will be responsible to drive design documents, functional and technical specifications from other developers on the team. The position requires the selected person to possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
EDUCATION
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Java, FLEX and C++ programming experience on Unix/Linux operating systems required.
• Experience with LAMP technologies desired. Knowledge of and experience with MySQL database, database access controls, and secure data replication over SSL desired. Experience with Apache 2.x, mod_security, and PHP.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux administration, PAM and user authentication management, general administration and configuration.

• Strong knowledge of scripting required.
• Experience with the design and implementation of ws-* interfaces.
• Industry Certifications: Solaris Certification, Linux Certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Windows 2000 or 2003 are a plus.
• Experience with the management of offshore development
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience in the design and development of management systems for commercial environments.
• Recent experience in VoIP telephony.
• Experience in IP and networking protocols and architectures.
Experience in security, including security of networks, servers, and VoIP system
