Java Developer (Field Consultant)

6-Month Contract to Hire

Location: North Dallas, TX

Travel commitment up to 85% but an average currently is 25-35%

As members of our development team, you would be involved in the full development cycle of applications. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, object oriented design and development, unit testing, documentation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• 2+ years in software field development experience.

• Experience developing on the Java platform/consultant side.

• Experience in UNIX environments.

• Strong knowledge of Object-oriented concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Strong requirements gathering and analysis experience

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience developing with the Spring Framework.

• Experience with WSDL, XML Schema and XSLT.

• Experience using JPA, JAXB, JAX-WS and ITMS.

• Experience using Web Services developer, CXF, Groovy Script, Python or other dynamic languages.

• Experience in I.T. Systems Management and BPM; BizTalk and Tibco.
