Web Project Manager

We are looking for a Web Project Manager (PM) for our client.

The Web Project Manager (PM) will report to the SVP of Strategy &
Business Development and will be responsible for all aspects of planning, development
and deployment of the web site, working directly with editorial, advertising sales,
subscriber / consumer marketing and external partners/vendors.
PM will initially determine project scope and specifications, coordinate and track
progress of design and development teams to implement online designs and ensure
overall quality of web site within pre defined parameters and costs.
The PM will be a mature, well rounded individual who can visualize the strategic
objectives of the business and execute specific deliverables to meet those goals. The
individual will be well versed in media and will be able to identify strategic web
partnerships and/or potential targets for acquisition.
Required skills/competencies/qualities:
- 5+ years relevant web project experience
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional eye for aesthetically pleasing websites
- Must be well versed in project management techniques, processes and
methodologies
– Must have strong problem-solving ability, the ability to adapt to shifting
priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals
– Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while
managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Acute understanding of traditional and Internet marketing
- Professional, dependable, solid work ethic, detail-oriented, self-motivated with a
high level of initiative and follow-through
- Ability to digest complexity and deliver simplicity
A Plus if you have:
- Publishing, Media or Agency experience
- Public relations experience
- Proficiency in Photoshop
- HTML and Dreamweaver experience
- PHP, .Net, ASP and database experience
