A Software Developer is needed to join an independent software technology company who provide an array of services covering consultancy and software development. As a passionate and committed Software Developer you will focus on delivering high quality, innovative code covering a variety of technology areas. You will have a talent for making even the biggest technical challenges seem simple.
You will be a key member of the team, finding creative solutions to the most complex technical problems, and your contribution will be critical to the ongoing success and continued expansion of this organisation.
Our client prides itself in producing simple, user friendly solutions to the most complex software problems. It is therefore important that you can demonstrate the ability to see the bigger picture when you are coding and make design decisions that result in high quality, maintainable software. Although the majority of the work will be undertaken in our client's offices, some client-facing work may be necessary from time to time.
Your CV will need to demonstrate:
• A working knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, VB
• Very solid experience with a lower level language such as C or C++
• Knowledge of modern databases
• An understanding of web standards
• Working knowledge of two or more operating systems
• A degree with a 1st or 2.1 in Computer Science or related discipline
