Our client is currently seeking a Senior UI Engineer with production Internet experience developing in PHP, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, and XSLT/XML for a high volume commercial website. This position plays a pivotal role in implementing the visual expression of Client's products as well as assisting with the architecture of the presentation layer of the application stack. The successful candidate will translate requirements into online user interfaces.

These UI developers will be finishing the redesign of the website (Next Generation version 2.0 of client website). There are 40 pages that need to be completed ASAP. The UI developers will be doing mock ups, HTML, and CSS. After the redesign of the 2.0 website is complete the developers will work on the international site.

Responsibilities:
Designs and supports the implementation of major site features.
Delivers high-quality releases on schedule.
Capability to work effectively with a cross functional team (product management, engineering, and QA) to spearhead the rollout of new features and code updates on the site.

Qualifications:
B.S in engineering or computer science, or BA in graphic design, digital media, or visual arts
At least 5 years of experience in Web design and development for commercial sites.
Expert XML, XSLT, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills.

Desired Experience:
Experience designing modular user interfaces utilizing XSLT.
Experience working with third-party libraries such as the YUI library.
Experience designing and implementing globalized user interfaces.
Experience using PHP and relational databases.
Experience on a high traffic commercial site.
Capability to work on several application layers (business logic and/or database).
