SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER C# / DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – LONDON

SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER C# / DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – LONDON (REF: PR-0008AY2, Closing Date: 04/08/2009)
With multiple offices spanning three continents our client is a leading marketing agency that needs to hire a Senior .NET Developer / Development Manager to spearhead the development / integration function of a busy London office.
Reporting to the MD you will become an integral part of the UK team responsible for designing and developing custom bespoke web solutions (.NET / C#) for leading clients as well as enhancing, maintaining and supporting a market leading relationship marketing platform.
Expect a hands-on role to start with, combining a mixture of development, client services and project management but as the London office expands you will be at the forefront, shaping the department and expanding your career within it. As a breakdown, your role will include the following:
Development:
• The Design, Development and Specification of technical solutions including: integration of client websites; bespoke web development and product enhancements.
• Maintain and develop the internal .NET library components to simplify development and streamline the integration process.
• Advise on technologies, tools, techniques and standards that will improve competitiveness and efficiency.
• Where required act as a mentor, managing others when leading the development of technical solutions.
• To provide clear, client friendly, high standard technical documentation.
Customer / Operations / Support:
• To work closely with clients in applying, implementing and integrating a proprietary marketing platform.
• Build customer rapport including the provision of product support and training where necessary.
• Enhance and develop product collateral including guidance notes, manuals, whitepapers etc.
• Participate in the ongoing development of the product, the service and internal processes.
This role is ideally suited to a solid Senior .NET Developer / hands on development manager who is well versed in internet technologies (JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS etc) and extremely capable of building complex bespoke web applications in .NET / C#.
As you will be involved first hand in the enhancement, integration and maintenance of an existing platform you should also be comfortable with IIS, Windows Server, implementing SQL Server solutions and providing first class customer service, support and training in a client facing environment.
As you can probably gauge this is a diverse role, however as the company expands you will be in a prime position to expand with it. Expect excellent remuneration, a great working environment and career progression!
