SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER – LONDON / CONTRACT to PERM (REF: RH 008T5, Closing Date: 08/09/2009)
We need a Senior PHP Developer / Web Programmer / Software Engineer to join a leading European organisation that specialise in building e-commerce / web solutions for the airline and travel sectors. Having experienced 300% growth over the past three years our client is in the process of setting up a London office and gaining greater recognition in the UK. Joining as an experienced PHP Developer you will help participate in this growth.
Initially based from home, this position offers you a unique opportunity to play an integral role in establishing a UK presence for our client. Working closely with developers in France we need someone who is highly technical and experienced in Software / Extranet / E-Commerce development. In more detail your CV should highlight the following:
• Excellent knowledge of PHP 5, HTML, MySQL, Zend Studio, DOM, XML.
• Good JavaScript skills including exposure to AJAX technologies.
• Strong experience with Web Services whether it is using the WSDL or SOAP standard.
• Knowledge of version control systems be it either SVN and/or CVS
• The ability to solve challenges in a vast array of different web technologies
• Any experience with .NET or Java is advantageous.
Ultimately we are looking for an analytical, reliable and self motivated PHP Developer / Software Engineer looking to be a part of an exciting, expanding European business. Flexibility is also key as occasional travel will be required in London and to our clients head office in Paris. In return expect a competitive salary and good benefits.
This role is initially for a 3-6 month period and subject to success permanent thereafter.
