We need a Technical Director to join an exciting, ambitious and energetic Digital Agency. Acting as a figurehead for all things technical you will play an essential role in taking our client to the next stages of their evolutionary journey...
Having been going for about 5 years as a web design and development studio this agency are hungry for more! Not looking to sit low and ride out the storm they are going places and need a Technical Director / Technical Lead who can inspire and lead an agency level studio with high quality, production level standards to conceptualise, design and build world class level websites, applications and mass tools of creation.
Innovation is their next chapter, so they need somebody to take an excellent studio into an age of creation, invention and curiosity. Expect a hands-on role to start with, combining a mixture of development, client services and project management but as the London office expands you will be at the forefront, shaping the department and expanding your career within it. As a breakdown, your CV will need to highlight the following:
• The ability to hand code PHP 5.0, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript to a very high standard.
• Very good knowledge of MVC Frameworks, such as ZEND (preferred) or Code Igniter.
• Strong SQL (Not only queries, but functions, triggers, stored procedures etc.)
• Good knowledge of Linux.
• Good knowledge of Social Networking Sites and related API's.
• Experience working with source control, SVN, CVS etc.
• Expert knowledge of standards.
• Accurate attention to detail.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced client facing Developer looking for the step up or an established Technical Director seeking a fresh challenge. Either way you should possess a digital agency background, an appetite for technology and innovation, will love social networks (including the knowhow on how to get the best out of them) and enjoy nothing more than connecting with likeminded people working on the latest advancements in web design, development and functionality.
