Web Developer / Front End Developer (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript) is needed to join a leading, Brighton based integrated digital agency. Boasting clients such as The Random House Group, Aardman, Virgin and Noostar they need seriously talented individuals to work on the latest cutting edge web development / digital projects.
Joining this relaxed and vibrant studio environment you will be based in Central Brighton and just a stone throw from the beach. As a talented Front End Developer / Web Developer with excellent XHTML and CSS you will be tasked with creating pixel perfect conversions from Photoshop concepts and turning designs into well structured, accessible and standards compliant websites. In more detail your CV will need to highlight the following:
• XHTML / HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Photoshop (ability to splice and optimise)
• Understanding of HTML to suit email clients
• Experience communicating with clients
• A creative edge, with excellent attention to detail
• An understanding of accessibility guidelines, with websites that comply to W3c – WCAG standards.
Any experience in Flash, Actionscript, Flex, AJAX, JQuery, .NET, SQL Server, PHP or MySQL is advantageous otherwise the right candidate will gain a great opportunity to cross train and learn new skills!
Ultimately we are after a strong Front End Developer (ideally with digital agency experience) who is excited by all digital mediums, emerging technologies and naturally proficient in coding XHTML and CSS to a very high standard.
