Senior LAMP Developer, Boston, MA | 85-125k

This is a full time, on-site, salaried position located near Boston, MA paying 80-125k + benefits. No telecommuting allowed. US Citizens, Green Card holders or EAD only please. Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Build and support complex back-end applications in a LAMP development environment: Data Warehousing, OLAP, CRM, reporting, custom admin panels, web services and data exchanges
- Transform high-level business requirements into functional code. Educate top management on pros and cons of various implementation options
- Build and support complex customer-facing web applications in a LAMP development environment with a small team
- Involvement in full development lifecycle; design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment and maintenance
- Take ownership of the company’s code base. Coordinate efforts among developers to maintain and grow the internal code library in an orderly fashion
Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years development experience with advanced Linux, Apache, PHP 5 and MySQL 5 techniques
- Strong SQL skills, including data modeling, architecture, and multiple database synchronization
- Object-oriented architecture, domain-driven design, design patterns, code reuse
- Personal records manipulation: data aggregation, cleansing, transformation, merge and purge, appending
- Object-Relational Mapping (e.g. Doctrine), Symfony or other MVC frameworks
- Experience with Web services, AJA, jQuery, Scriptaculous, Prototype
- Firm grasp of web application security techniques
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, Master’s preferred
