IPC Digital is looking for an energetic and experienced web developer to join its Southbank division.

The successful candidate will have a great understanding of modern web development best practices and standards as well as a good working knowledge of symfony, Drupal or other MVC frameworks.

Required Experience

• Excellent HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Experience of using JavaScript libraries including YUI and jQuery.
• Good understanding of progressive enhancement, accessibility and usability.
• Good PHP development skills.
• Experience of symfony, Drupal or other MVC frameworks such as CodeIgnitor and CakePHP.
• Strong delivery focus and a passion for quality and innovation. Positive attitude and focus on working as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

• Experience of subversion (SVN) or other similar version control systems.
• A good understanding of web security and performance issues.
• Experience of using MySql.
• Good Unix/Linux command line skills.
• Experience of agile.
