Title: Web Developer
Out client has nearly 10 years of creating a state-of-the-art interactive game network, and of developing premier multiplayer, online games. Having built such a network, they continue to improve upon it, keeping stride with current technology and offering new and innovative approaches.
In addition to designing the game staff members read fan forums and observe PvP matches on a daily basis. They also attend various live gaming events and hold tournaments for both the novice player and the top-ranked competitive guilds. The decisions charting the course for their games are not arbitrary choices made by an isolated marketing department; rather, the entire gaming community, including players and developers alike, all have a voice in the future of games produced.
Currently, our client is busy developing a revolutionary new game while continuing to support current popular games. The company provides additional content such as holiday events, community contests, monthly championships, and merchandise. The entire team is excited about their upcoming release but we are in need of a new member to join the team that will help create and maintain web browsers that users are constantly searching.
Requirements:
-Passion for lightning quick, cross-browser web interfaces
-Excellent understanding of CSS and HTML, inside and out; front to back
-Fluent in JavaScript and familiar with libraries such as YUI
-Excited about the opportunity to create web apps that millions of users will interact with
-Should really enjoy working in a Agile environment.
-Experience with AJAX and Cross-Browser web interfaces.
-Understanding of JS/DOM interactions
Candidates will be asked to provide code samples. Code samples will be in JavaScript in order to demonstrate ability to develop practical solutions to difficult problems.
