Transportation software engineering firm in Brookfield, WI (20 min from Milwaukee, WI) is seeking a permanent Software Developer to add to it’s team. The ideal candidate is one with 2-3 years of Java/UI Development experience OR a recent college grad with upward potential.

Developer will:
• Provid reasonable feedback of progress to management
• Create estimates for software deliverables
• Provide subject matter review of software documentation
• Comply with Quality Management System processes and procedures
• Interact with external and internal groups to gather software requirements
• Document software requirements that meet company and customer expectations
• Review architecture and/or design to ensure that product is extendable to accommodate future development and maintenance
• Deliver software in a reasonable timeframe as indicated by the development plan

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Database Modeling
• Server side web scripting using JSP/ASP/ASP.net
• Programming languages Java/C#/C++
• Advanced proficiency in database developing using SQL

• Having some web exposure (PHP, AJAX), Hibernate etc will also help
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and relational models
  • Intermediate proficiency in client and server side web development using javascript, vbscript, HTML, ASP.NET, JSP
  • Preferred VB and C++
  • Exposure to Microsoft .Net framework
  • Exposure to object and processes modeling using UML or OOAD techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
