Desired: *Experience with Ruby on Rails and Ruby micro framework for REST services.

*Experience with JRuby in support of interoperating with Java libraries.

*Experience incorporating data clusters, messaging (AMQP based),
preference engines, and machine learning technologies.

*Experience a web 2.0 user experience implemented with Ajax / RESTful services.

*Experience with MySQL for OLTP, including alternative structured
storage engines (such as couchDB, voldemort, mongoDB, Tokyo Cabinet).

*Experience with columnar database technology to support data
warehousing, and search technology leveraging Lucene / Solr.

*Experience with data partners and messaging systems desirable (e.g. AMQP)

*Experience with data clustering and preference engines a plus

*Experience leveraging APIs with other social media sites (such as
Facebook and Twitter).
