Senior PHP Developer

Our NYC Media client seeks an exceptional WEB & SYSTEMS DEVELOPER. Ideal candidate will be innovative, self-motivated, a quick study, and willing to develop new skills while constantly improving existing abilities. In this position, you will work closely with teammates on high-traffic customer-facing applications. This is a mid to senior-level development position.
Responsibilities
• Work alongside talented developers to enhance and maintain LAMP-based production site
• Improve analytics (WebTrends, Google Analytics, homegrown)
• Enhance and maintain system scripts using PHP and Perl
• Mine massive databases and logs to discover meaningful information and trends (MySQL, grep, sed, awk, etc.)
• Manage installations of vBulletin, WordPress, and MediaWiki
Requirements
• Strong background PHP5, mySQL, Javascript, Apache, and Linux
• Ability to use the command line efficiently
• Comfortable with the OO PHP and Advanced Javascript
• Creative problem solver who is able to look at the big picture
