PHP DEVELOPER / WEB DEVELOPER - DIGITAL AGENCY - BEDFORD (REF: RH-000BAN2, Closing Date: 21/04/2010, Salary:To £30k (DOE) + Benefits)
We need a PHP Developer to join a fantastic out-of-London Digital Agency that specialises in building e-commerce, software and web solutions. Boasting clients such as JD Wetherspoon, Yo! Sushi, Carluccios, David Lloyd, Old Orleans and Walkabout this is an ideal opportunity for a Developer versed in all things Web / PHP to make a real impact.
Acting as a key member of the development team you will be involved first hand in Back End and Front End development of cutting edge web solutions utilising PHP, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. In more detail your role will include the following:
• To keep up to date with the latest technological concepts and advancements.
• Build Web Applications / E-Commerce solutions using PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XML-RPC, AJAX, web 2.0 API’s etc.
• Liaise internally with designers, developers and account managers to ensure the best solution possible is built for the client.
• Play an active role in suggesting product development and the identification of possible new client solutions.
• Use your Front End Development skills to build engaging interfaces. (AS/Flash a bonus.)
• To create clean, compliant code whilst ensuring a great user experience.
To qualify you will need to be proficient in PHP with a CV that showcases sound experience gained within a commercial environment. The ideal candidate will also have a good all round knowledge of the web highlighting at least some if not all of the bullet points and skills above.
Ultimately we are looking for an analytical, reliable and self motivated PHP Developer / Software Engineer / Web Applications Developer (or similar) looking to be a part of an exciting, expanding Digital Agency.
