Bible League has provided Bibles for more than 70 years to people in need around the world. Bible League partners with local churches worldwide, training and equipping Christians to use the Bible to make disciples and establish new churches. We are currently seeking a Web Developer in our international headquarters office located in the south Chicago suburb of Crete, IL.
This individual will be involved in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting web applications and functionality and will include front-end and back-end development. Responsibilities also include developing new websites, supporting existing websites, modifications to support current needs, implement changes and assist users in resolving problems. Will also evaluate user requests for new or modified websites and determine feasibility, cost and time required to complete.
Qualifications include being a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and also agree with the Bible League’s Statement of Faith. Candidates should have Computer Science degree with 2 yrs experience with web design and programming languages including ASP, ASP.Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. Candidates should understand browser specific compatibility issues along with experience with relational databases such as SQL Server 2005 and Access. Must also have strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication and time management skills with ability to work independently and also with teams.
