This is a contract position.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area and 5-7 years of relevant development experience.

•Perl 5.8, including mod_perl, perl data structures and references, CPAN, modules, and packages
•Perl DBI experience with Oracle •Oracle 10i/11g experience oPL/SQL knowledge
oStored Procedures using PL/SQL oStrong performance tuning/query optimization oDatabase Design oUnderstanding of database design oER diagrams oDB administration experience a plus •Solaris/Linux/Apache platform knowledge
•Ability to document (including but not limited to architecture & design documents)
•Web development experience (Perl, Javascript, HTML 5, Ruby on Rails)
•Perforce knowledge Work with the Bug Tracking and SCM engineering team to learn the inner working of the Burt system. Take on projects to enhance Burt including creation of requirements documents, design proposals, schedules and implementation of these changes.
5+ years of job related Perl programming experience in a Unix/Linux environment. Required Experience: - experience creating perl based solutions that abide by Perl.
