A .NET Developer (MVC) is needed to join a fast paced, entrepreneurial start-up that is already experiencing an exciting level of growth. The .NET Developer (MVC) will be working on a unique, world-class web application used by business owners and entrepreneurs worldwide.
Our client is a highly ambitious organisation who are backed by an impressive line up of entrepreneurs including two dragons from the Dragons Den. Due to recent growth they are looking for a .NET Developer (MVC) with experience of the MVC framework who shares their ambition to join a highly skilled team who have developed a new support platform that provides real-time access to 1000s of professional users.
The role is well suited to an ambitious and talented Web Developer specialising in .NET MVC technologies who is looking to build a world-class professional networking web application that allows small businesses and entrepreneurs worldwide to share knowledge and advice.
It is expected the successful candidate would be proactive in the following areas:
• ASP.NET MVC (experience or an interest in .net 3.5 and 4.0 advantageous).
• VB.NET or C#.
• MVC development.
• At least 5 years web development experience building web apps and working with APIs.
• Excellent analytical skills and be able to step back from a problem and see the bigger picture.
• Be able to deal with different companies, people and systems to help create a world-class web application.
• SQL.
• XML.
• OO design patterns.
• AJAX.
• Experience with other web MVC frameworks such as RoR, Django, Struts, etc is a bonus.
• HTML.
• JavaScript and CSS.
