Position: Junior Developer/Desktop / IT Support
Position Type: Full Time / Flexible hours
Salary: $45-50K + Full Benefits

We're looking for a junior developer with desktop support experience to join our team of weather professionals at Weather Works. Are you an energetic and creative individual? Our small company atmosphere and flexible work environment makes for an easy transition for recent grads and a potential for rapid growth. This position will allow you the opportunity to wear multiple hats - gaining valuable experience in the different facets of IT and software development. Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

Operating Systems
Unix/Linux - 2 years experience
Windows (XP, Server 2003) - 2 years experience
2 years experience in desktop support

Programming Languages
2 years experience with PHP
Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
Experience with SVN
Working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
Working knowledge of JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Prototype, etc)
Familiarity with MVC frameworks (CakePHP and/or Zend or MVC for ASP.NET)
ASP.NET experience a plus
