SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER / EPISERVER DEVELOPER (.NET / WEB) – HERTFORDSHIRE (REF: JC-000D8G, Closing Date: 04/10/2010, Salary: £45-50k (DOE) + Benefits)
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a successful full service digital agency based in the centre of historic St Albans which is just 20 minutes from London.
Joining a fast growing, exciting business our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner who work at the forefront of the digital industry. Since 1995 their strategic, creative and technical solutions have assisted leading businesses develop highly effective and engaging online experiences.
As the Senior .NET Web Developer / EPiServer Developer you will play a key role within the development team undertaking a hands on approach to developing .NET CMS, EPiServer projects, systems integrations etc. You will be:
• Developing web solutions, .NET applications and software applications.
• Co-ordinating a number of developers within the project team.
• Assisting in the planning, architecture and specification of web-based technology solutions.
• Estimating time and resource requirements for technical projects.
• Managing the delivery of work within agreed timescales.
• Communicating with the client, project manager and project team over progress, issues and timescales.
To qualify, we are seeking highly enthusiastic and self motivated .NET Developers who possess a passion for technology, can code flawlessly and are a stickler for detail. Your CV should include the following:
• Solid professional experience developing in an ASP.NET, C#, SQL web environment.
• Previous exposure to .NET CMS (ideally EPiServer CMS).
• Experience of coordinating a development team.
• Experience of system testing and documenting solutions.
• Have a solid understanding of the importance of software development processes and project life cycles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ultimately we are seeking strong .NET Web Developers with impeccable communication skills, a can-do attitude and a passion for the IT industry.
