.Net Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to development team responsible for the implementation web-based applications using the .Net Framework and SQL Server technologies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to define & analyze requirements for enhancements and new product development in a fast growing software-as-a-service business
• Prepare technical designs, write code, perform debugging and unit testing.

• Responsible for the timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment while ensuring that the team adheres to architecture strategy, design patterns, and best practices
• Work closely with fellow development staff and product management to document standards and procedures for the definition of reference architectures (“architecture roadmap”).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer-science with 3-5+ years of applicable work experience as a Microsoft technologies developer, specifically with VB.NET and /or C# in a layered architecture supporting a high-volume, 24x7x365 web-based application environment
• Substantial experience building high-performance web user interfaces with HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript, custom controls, jQuery.
• Experience with 3rd party controls Telerik, Aspose, and Dundas Charting a big plus
• Practical, hands-on experience with Object Oriented Design and Analysis, application design patterns.
• 3-5+ years of experience with MS SQL server, leveraging SQL 2005 features in developing optimized database and T-SQL code
• Experience with .NET 3.0+ technologies including WCF, WPF, and WF
• Experience leveraging open source development and software configuration management (SCM) tools (such as Subversion, NUnit, CruiseControl.Net, NCover, MSBuild, NAnt, FxCop) a plus
• Extremely strong collaboration and communication skills a must
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
• High level of flexibility and ability to persevere through periods of significant change and challenge in the business environment
• Microsoft certifications, particularly a MCTS Certification in a. Net Framework track a plus
• Permanent US work authorization is required.
