Our NYC client is seeking a full time, on-site, salaried back-end LAMP development guru in the 90-120k range to lead the development team to enhance their website and in the development of a new application which will position the company for aggressive growth. Your varied responsibilities will include:

• writing object-oriented, elegant code on an MVC framework
• project management
• server and database management
• collaborating with our business team on creative approaches to expansion

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about exceeding expectations and applying cutting-edge web technologies to every project. They expect our employees to work with deadlines in mind and understand our vision for the future of our business. Required skills are as follows:

• PHP 4/5
• CSS, XHTML, XML
• MySQL 5.x
• JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
• Strong knowledge of current web standards & browser/platform compatibility issues
• Experience writing stored procedures
• Experience writing RESTful services
• Linux server management (Red Hat)
• Apache
• Basic Windows networking skills
