LAMP Developer
at Modis in RTP, NC
Our client has an immediate need for a LAMP developer with a strong web portfolio that includes high-traffic, user-friendly websites with extensive CMS development. The candidate must write clean, efficient code with a hardcore desire to implement tight designs. Ideal candidate will have advanced JavaScript and AJAX skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Back-end Development
Research and Experimentation
Spec Writing and Documentation
Must Have Skills:
College degree or 2-5 years of relevant
development experience
Experience developing for a LAMP environment
Knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
Ability to meet industry-accepted standards, specifications
and best practices
Nice to Have Skills:
Ability to code mobile-capable websites
Working knowledge of PHP frameworks and CMS systems (CakePHP, Drupal, etc.)
Working knowledge of server environments
Type: 3 month contract to hire
