Our client is a dynamic and innovative software house who develops bespoke software for enterprise clients and provide business consultancy on technology issues. Working with worldwide clients the Django Developer will be involved with the complete software development lifecycle from talking to the client through to installation and support.
Duties will include:
• Writing software using Django, Python, JSON, XML, XHTML, HTML, CSS and Javascript to prewritten specifications.
• Debugging software.
• Developing web pages to prewritten specifications.
• Writing and assisting in writing test scripts.
• Testing software, documenting the findings of such testing and enhancing the Software.
• Documenting software written and keeping accurate time records of the time taken in performing each individual task.
• Assisting in writing specifications for the development of software and computer based solutions.
• Assisting in solving end-users issues, communicating directly with the end-users and other technical staff.
• Meeting with clients and potential clients and assisting in the sales process, including demonstrations and answering technical questions.
• Assist with developing project plans.
• Writing release notes and end-user notifications on changes.
To qualify for this position you must have experience in Django Development and have excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS. Any knowledge of non Django/Python based languages such as Java, C and scripting languages would be a bonus.
