We are looking for an experienced PHP/web developer to join an expanding internal development team and work on our clients exclusive iconic travel website, based in Chiswick, West London.
As boutique travel experts, with a cherry-picked collection of the most stylish stays around the world, our client wants you to help them remain at the forefront of our industry, helping their website to be the best. As the latest addition to a growing team, you will work on their well-known travel website developing both front- and back-end systems, using several technologies, including PHP, XHTML, JavaScript and MySQL.
This role is perfectly suited to an ambitious and experienced web or PHP developer wishing to join a company that aims to push the boundaries of technology and creativity. You will need to progress fast, and settle in quickly to form a linchpin part of a small team.
You will need to:
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy a good challenge.
• Be highly motivated and proactive, and grab the challenge of working for a dynamic, growing company.
• Have at least two years’ previous commercial programming experience.
• Be proficient in PHP5, MySQL, and have good experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, web standards and semantic markup.
• Have proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform issues, and be dedicated to web standards.
• Have experience working with CMS or e-commerce systems.
• Any mobile web experience is a bonus.
