Software Engineer (C#, .Net, FLEX, AJAX, RoR, CSS, GIT, Subversion, JSON) – Petaluma
at Confidential in Atlanta, GA
Our client is a "green technology" company that is launching their flagship web platform for monitoring and visualization of customers' microinverter systems.
Location: Petaluma, CA (North Bay Area)
Responsibilities
• Design and develop new features based on latest technologies (Flex, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, etc.)
• Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement.
• Refactor and improve existing code bases for reusability and scalability.
• Design new systems to meet Marketing and Engineering requirements.
• Use test-driven development (TDD) to maintain and improve code quality.
Requirements:
• Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and/or high volume transactional systems.
• Significant experience building Web Applications.
• Equally comfortable building out new systems or improving weaknesses in existing systems.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, agile practices and TDD desired.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/XML/JSON
• Experience with GIT or Subversion
